Stars should like points of light, points do not lie on the telescope. A focal point is: Adjust the focus knob, minimum size up the points? Can apply to objects far away country () at least 1 / 4 miles away.
I hate to say it, but it is one of the telescopes in the 21 Century built. Optical design combines very badly with a really bad cut. If possible, I recommend you go to Costco and use the money to buy a real telescope on a real telescope store.

Buy from a store that specializes in the purchase telescopes and astronomy, either locally or online, not in department stores, discount stores or eBay, as is everything they sell junk. Find your local astronomy club and try different telescopes at one of its groups of stars:

I urge beginners to leave astrophotography until they have learned their way into the sky. Astrophotography is by far the most expensive and difficult area of amateur astronomy.
Many people who buy telescopes have no idea how to find interesting things to be observed, too. Finding a good introduction to things is Nightwatch by Terence Dickinson (Firefly). An expanded book by Phil Harrington Star View (Wiley).
The telescope is an impressive piece of junk. Nothing will look good through it.
The planets are tiny dots in an amateur telescope. With experience you learn to see in detail in the points. If I did what I always tell people to do, before buying a telescope, you know.
The first thing to do your telescope in the day to check with the aim of some distant objects 1 or 2 miles away. It seems that the scope is unclear, as are the stars. If you are not focusing on distant objects, you have a problem with the telescope.
The planets seem to be very low, even at 200X. You can on the rings of Saturn and Jupiter, the two largest carpet seen together with its 4 largest moons, but it is small.
I hate to tell you, but you should never be a telescope of any department store or Costco, QVC, for it is sad to say, 99.999% of the time are garbage.
