The main thing I notice in ATV Sport [Kawasaki KFX400 is] that the machine is not for the dirt road was designed. When taking a curve on a paved road, as far as I can be tilted and get my quad on 2 wheels. In the country, no problem. the rear tires slip a little, enough to keep all four wheels planted.
Well, if the dealer goes to the axes and firearms in the ATV approximately 12 "wide, less than the machine, which only change a few inches above the ground and the issue of Hoosier tires on his street, then it would solve the Sidewalk highway speeds, but it would not be very useful off-road.

This is not just a question of suspending the lights on them. Lights must be at least the specific brightness, all lights should be considered, a number of AA, there is a requirement of earshot of the horn. The brakes have a maximum distance requirement will stop at a speed too. Tires come, they are not good on the road. And if you do everything you need, when you with an MSO, so that you can get a diploma. And if you all that still meet the age requirements for your state.

The Department of Transportation reported May an ATV to be legal if the street is street legal tires, lights work, and head / brake lights and indicators of risk. If you can perform a conversion on all of these requirements will be registered by the Ministry of Transport to the plate and labels. I left that to a 4-stroke engine.
FYI-This is the law in Texas. I can not answer any other state, and I know this because, well, you tell him that you write what you want at the university and I went to some unknown reason with this question about me. All the information I received from the Texas DOT website and e-mails cust DOT. Service that is a good kick out of this issue and that the bulk of the work for me.

because they are not made, are to be Street Legal, can be made, but the law is not possible, the street, and they were flashing brake lights, and capable of a Test and Safety Pass the need to continue with the course of the movement, I am sure, will probably one day a street legal, but now they are not, good luck.

Ah grasshopper is only where you live. Here we add a mirror and a light plane and a horn, then the plate for motorcycles. Technically, you need to change the tires, but do not know who did it. It always comes back to our governor, who happened for the thrust and HP is that their private Goon Squad said that the issue is not important to the tire. "The only place where I can not ride the highways.

In general, they are not road vehicles. They have knobby tires and beat the hell of the road conditions.

And finally, do not meet, DOT safety requirements. Many of them have no brake lights, cornering lights, etc.

That does not explain why we can not convert. I accept the Department of Transportation does not deal with the management of individual conversions.

Good luck ...

Because they are not admitted or at the DMV, or registered in order to obtain a regular insurance to protect them even more damage to persons or property. They have the level of road safety features required by law [[ie: light, etc.]].
